I don’t really know anything much about Abraham Lincoln much as many Americans know nothing about anything outside of America, however this morning I came across this post on 7 Must Read Life Lessons from Abraham Lincoln which shows he had some great principles on life the ones that caught me the most were..
Prepare for Success
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe.”
Hustle
“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.”
Make the Years Count
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
See the Brighter Side of Things
“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.”
Constantly Improve
Like this?, why not give it a?“The way for a young man to rise is to improve himself in every way he can…”

A lot of early Americans had great principles. Benjamin Franklin’s guide to living or whatever is full of ways to change your life for the better, even if he didn’t live by them. You can’t hate on America though, Brad. Plenty of people are ignorant, but many are also pretty interested.
