There are two kinds of company to work for, one where they don’t give a fuck about you being the thankless organ-grinder that keeps things working from day to day, perhaps being an application developer like me (and one other guy) giving a company with hundreds of employees, and scores of applications more software than you would think two pairs of hands could churn out without any bonus at the end of the year… or the other kind of company, such as Google… who brings in cool shit like this for it’s employees just to MOTIVATE AND INSPIRE THEM. Google I salute you, some fear you but I don’t (you give shitloads of traffic to my sites for a start!)
