Following on from the idiot I found a couple of days ago, here is another stupid kid that is tired of having a fully functional body.

And this one’s determination to find his dream wheelchair is truely amazing

I’m an open minded, intelligent person. I can laugh at the filthiest of jokes and respect the most respectable of people, I’m hard to offend most of the time and believe that you should be able to use all of your language whenever you feel the need to express something a certain way.

There is a site that you should have a look through today which broadcasts free presentations by people who think about the bigger picture when it comes to life - so you can get more out of yours.

Three impressive talks I viewed today are:

Billy Graham: Technology, faith and human shortcomings

Tony Robbins: Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better

Carl Honore: Slowing down in a world built for speed

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.

The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).

The site makes the best talks and performances from TED available to the public, for free. More than 200 talks from our archive are now available, with more added each week.

EDIT: I havn’t even finished this one yet, but here is a fourth talk I recommend you watch!.
