I saw the movie Frantic quite a while ago, but heard a track on strictly come dancing now I thought was this track from Frantic, really great movie (although this youtube clip seems to be italian dubbed), great club scene, georgious star in the movie and well just see the whole movie for yourself and enjoy. For those too young to remember, the track is by Grace Jones who is a bit of a wild cat, but there’s nothing wrong with having spirit when you have talent.

I paid for and downloaded Wordtrackers Kick-Ass keywords last week and I must say its pretty impressive. I found lots of “outside the box” thinking for coming up with more “kick ass” keyword strategies.

The book is also co-authored by a renowned SEO expert Aaron wall a name with his quality of reputation in the field of SEO should speak for itself about the book quality.

So I have to say out of all the internet marketing books I have owned over the last couple years this new one is definately the most comprehensive. I highly recommend it.

Keyword research tool Wordtracker has invited one of the smartest SEOs on the planet, Aaron Wall to create a powerful new e-book, “50 Kick-Ass Keyword Strategies” focused on simple, smart and speedy ways to use keywords to attract more customers online.

50 Kick-Ass Keyword Strategies” is packed with pointed, practical tips that focus on what today’s online marketers care about most: getting real PROFIT from keywords.

“We wanted to create a simple, readable book that got people buzzing with fresh keyword ideas — ideas they could start using right away to improve their business profit. And knowing how busy people are, we insisted that Aaron cut out the fluff and get to the meat of what you really need to know.” said Ken McGaffin CMO Wordtracker.com

“Online success is not so much about spending tons of money, but more about working hard to come up with unique, creative and useful ideas that attract and engage your audiences,” said Aaron Wall.

This practical and inspiring e-book gives businesses of all sizes lessons and insights that includes:

  • Clever, little-known strategies for getting more valuable website visitors.
  • Outwitting competitors, and impressing clients with surefire ways to skyrocket their website traffic.
  • How to reach beyond the obvious keywords to discover terms and phrases with untapped commercial value.
  • How getting rid of words like free and discount can boost your conversion rates and get better customers.
  • How mining analytics data can be the key to uncovering valuable, low-competition keywords that bring in valuable streams of traffic.
  • How a site’s search box is the key to finding profitable new keywords and content ideas as well as ideas for new products to add to a website.

“It’s not just the right keywords that guarantee your online success – but how you use them. Most marketers tend to blindly follow the same, tired research path that everybody else follows. As a result, they miss out on all of the traffic and profits that some clever keyword thinking could bring them.” added Wall.

“50 Kick-Ass Keyword Strategies” is available as an e-book for download here and retails at a reasonable $39.

I’m an open minded, intelligent person. I can laugh at the filthiest of jokes and respect the most respectable of people, I’m hard to offend most of the time and believe that you should be able to use all of your language whenever you feel the need to express something a certain way.

There is a site that you should have a look through today which broadcasts free presentations by people who think about the bigger picture when it comes to life – so you can get more out of yours.

Three impressive talks I viewed today are:

Billy Graham: Technology, faith and human shortcomings

Tony Robbins: Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better

Carl Honore: Slowing down in a world built for speed

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.

The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).

The site makes the best talks and performances from TED available to the public, for free. More than 200 talks from our archive are now available, with more added each week.

EDIT: I havn’t even finished this one yet, but here is a fourth talk I recommend you watch!.

Save your eyes

Came across a nice little windows program today, runs in the systray and can help to stop your eyes from getting fucked up if you spend too much time infront of a computer.

You can set how often it should remind you to take a break, how long that break will be, and if your screen is going to have a flowery picture on it, or as I prefer some eye training animations that get your eyes to move around and adjust focus for a while.

Mine is set to do its thing every 45 minutes and give me two minutes of moving my eyes around and adjusting focus. Hopefully this will hold off the need for glasses for a while longer!.

To get it so you get eye training instead of a pretty picture, right click the icon in the systray (the little icons in the bottom right of your screen), click on settings  then under where it says notifications, select “start the visual training”.
