The UK would have acted all friendly to him, taken him off for treatment in a nice hospital, probably realised he was in the country illegally and sorted that out for him then given him a  4 bedroom council house to say sorry for his inconvenience – oh then given him £500 a week for the rest of his life.

Or at least that’s how the hundred different police TV programmes on Virgin make it look where someone obviously commits a crime – gets a free dinner then is sent on their way home.
